# Emirates Angels Overview

 Founded in 2020, the Emirates Angels Investors Association is a non-profit organization officially registered under the UAE's Ministry of Community Development and supported by the Ministry of Economy. Its mission is to accelerate the startup ecosystem by forming a network of passionate and active investors who contribute to early-stage investments in the region. The association focuses on educating both angel investors and entrepreneurs through resources, coaching, and mentorship programs. While the association itself does not invest directly, its members—comprising elite UAE national angel investors and expert board members—invest individually or through syndicates. Emirates Angels serves as a platform connecting startups with angel investor groups and ecosystem partners both regionally and globally, advocating for the development of startups and supporting early-stage innovation in the UAE.
