Arts & Crafts Business Angels Overview
Arts et Métiers Business Angels (AMBA) is a network of approximately 140 members who invest in and support French startups with high growth potential and societal impact. Since its inception, AMBA has financed over 150 young companies through 240 funding rounds, totaling more than €16 million as of January 2025. The association operates through six regional delegations: Île-de-France, Grand Est, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Sud-Ouest (Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie), and Bretagne - Pays de la Loire. Each year, AMBA reviews around 1,000 projects, pre-screens 250 regionally, and selects about 40 for national pitches. The organization is a member of France Angels, the federation of business angels in France.
