Mainport Innovation Fund (MIF) is a Dutch venture capital fund established in 2015 by Royal Schiphol Group, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Delft University of Technology, NS Dutch Railways, and the Port of Amsterdam, in collaboration with NBI Investors. The fund focuses on accelerating innovations in mobility, logistics, and aviation by combining venture capital with the strategic expertise and global networks of its partners. In 2022, MIF merged with SHIFT Invest to form the largest climate impact-oriented venture capital fund in the Netherlands, with a total fund size of EUR 110 million. The combined fund now invests in sustainable aviation, mobility, and logistics through SHIFT Invest III.
