The firm aims to invest during the creation phase of startups, support their scientific and commercial development, and maintain control over technologies originating from CEA laboratories. Since its inception, CEA Investissement has financed and supported over 100 startups across sectors such as life sciences, energy, microelectronics, materials, and industrial equipment. In 2017, in partnership with Amundi, CEA Investissement established Supernova Invest to expand its investment capabilities in deeptech startups at various development stages.
