# SOFIPACA Overview

 Since 1984, SOFIPACA, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole's regional banks, has supported over 300 SMEs and mid-sized companies in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region with growth capital, buyout capital, and shareholder restructuring projects. Managing over €125 million, including €70 million in own funds, SOFIPACA invests in regional businesses to aid their development. As a long-term financial investor and active minority shareholder, SOFIPACA adapts to each company's plans, assisting management teams in implementing growth strategies without interfering in daily operations. The firm emphasizes local relationships, patient capital, support, and empowerment, currently supporting around 40 companies, mainly based in southern France. SOFIPACA is part of Crédit Agricole's private equity ecosystem, which includes regional investment vehicles and a national vehicle, collectively forming one of France's leading minority private equity investors with over €6.5 billion invested in more than 1,000 companies. Typically investing between €1 million and €7 million per deal, SOFIPACA can invest up to €50 million through co-investments within this ecosystem.
